Wildlife Coexistence & Desert Dangers:
You, Your Pets and Urban Wildlife

Are you worried about walking your dog because you have coyotes in your neighborhood, or are you afraid to venture to your mailbox because you have a javelina herd living near by? In Arizona you can expect to see a diverse array of wildlife. As urban areas expand into wild lands, encounters with our wild neighbors are on the increase.

These encounters can quickly turn bad if you do not know how to deal with them in the proper way. We will teach you how to protect your pets, avoid wildlife conflict, dispel myths and give you practical solutions for living with Phoenix's growing urban wildlife population.

Join us for a special presentation with Michelle Myers, from the Arizona Animal Welfare League, as she talks about our growing urban wildlife population, and ways to keep us and our pets safe as we learn to live with our desert neighbors.
