Homeschool Thursdays (Ages 7-12)
Enhance your child's homeschool learning experience with our hands-on, animal-themed science classes. Created to show your child the importance of respect and care for all creatures, this popular two hour program is offered on the second Thursday of each month at the Arizona Animal Welfare League / SPCA.
From behind-the-scenes tours, to helping us take care of our shelter animals, your child is guaranteed to have an unforgettable experience!
Classes are held 10:30 am - 12:00 pm AND 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Classes are designed for children ages 7-12.
Parents are encouraged to attend. Please bring a sack lunch, snack will not be provided
Program fees:
$15.00 for the first child.
$ 5.00 for each additional student (siblings only) Enroll in both classes and save: $20.00 for both 90 minute courses for the first child and $10.00 for both courses for the second child.
Lab fees may apply and will vary per class and activity.
