What a great way to introduce your youngster to the amazing animal kingdom and pet care! Your child and their favorite adult will learn about a variety of animals and topics through stories, crafts and experiences with our animal friends here at the Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA. Class sizes are kept small to ensure quality attention to each child. Minimum enrollment is four children; maximum is 10. Please be aware that if a class session does not meet the minimum enrollment, it may be canceled.
*Classes are designed for children Ages 3-5. Class is approximately 90 minutes in length and is offered the Fourth Tuesday of the month. Class tuition is $20 per child, save $5 off every time you sign up for 2 or more sessions or multiple children.
Fabulous Five!
Preschoolers will explore the magic of the five senses. Find out how animals use there senses to experience the world around them. Students will learn how some animal senses are like humans and some are very different!
Creepy Crawly Critters
Explore the exciting world of creepy critters! From slithering snakes to hissing roaches your preschooler will experience the not so cuddly animals of the Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA. Introduce you little one to arachnids, insects, snakes and other creepy critters through crafts and live viewing.
Hop, slither and crawl!
Join the Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA as we do the locomotion. Discover how animals move in many different ways. Experience animal movement up-close by meeting some of the animals that live here at the shelter.
Leaping Lizards!
Are dragons real? Bearded dragons are! Experience the wide world of lizards as your preschooler learns all about our scaly friends. Top off the class by meeting our five foot iguana “Guapo”, he is so big you might think he is a dragon! |
